Reticulum is a cryptography-based networking stack for building decentralized networks over diverse physical mediums including LoRa, packet radio, WiFi, and Ethernet. It provides end-to-end encryption, multi-hop routing, initiator anonymity, and operates independently of IP networks with extremely low bandwidth requirements (as low as 5 bits per second). The stack uses X25519/Ed25519 cryptography, runs entirely in userland Python, and includes utilities for file transfer, remote execution, and network management. Applications built on Reticulum include mesh messaging platforms, voice communication tools, and remote shell access.
