Manage Laravel Cloud Deployments Inside PhpStorm

JetBrains has shipped a new Laravel tool window in PhpStorm, delivered via the now-free Laravel Idea plugin, that integrates Laravel Cloud deployment management directly into the IDE. The panel provides three tabs covering a local dashboard (commands, migrations), application errors, and a Laravel Cloud view gated behind an API key. From the Cloud tab, developers can monitor environment status, deployment logs, URLs, and masked environment variables in real time. A standout feature is AI-assisted troubleshooting: when a deploy fails, the log can be handed to JetBrains AI, which diagnoses the issue and applies a one-click fix. AI features require a JetBrains AI subscription; the rest works without one. Requires PhpStorm 2026.1.1 or later.
