Downvoted, because this is a puff piece for this authors own Linux experience, and does nothing to help those who do not use ARCH Linux, and are afraid of the command line, in becoming more confident in doing so.
Infact, most people (ie. those that do not use Arch) would be flummoxed by the first command ‘sudo pacman -S zsh’. I use Debian, so that command would do zero on my computer. Perhaps a more agnostic approach would have been preferable?

Heeey, great tutorial but I’m not a fan of aliasing git in zsh, why not use git aliases (<a href="https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2/Git-Basics-Git-Aliases" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2/Git-Basics-Git-Aliases</a>) ?
Little tips for OhMyZsh, if you don’t want to use it, just clone the git repo of the plugin and source the zsh file in the .zshrc. To update the plugins, just do a git pull in the different repos!

Great post ! I’m a Hugeeeeeeeeeee Fan of ZSH+Oh my ZSH

I always been fan of zsh and oh-my-zsh. But 3 years ago I replaced oh-my-zsh with prezto, which I think more lightweight in my machine.
Not to mention, most people also miss how to utilize the plugins on every ZSH frameworks.
For most command-lines, you can use ZSH plugin for aliases. Most used ZSH plugins for me is kubectl, docker, zypper, vagrant, fzf.
You can also just search for ZSH plugin in GitHub and integrate to your workflow.
