Machining A Two-Stroke Engine Out Of Aluminium

Camden Bowen machined a functional two-stroke engine from billet aluminium using only a basic mill and lathe. The single-cylinder engine achieved 150 PSI compression and successfully ran on premixed gasoline-oil fuel. The project involved some costly lessons and a ruined part, but ultimately produced a working engine with only a minor flywheel wobble.
