CMU researchers are presenting 194 papers at ICLR 2026 in Rio de Janeiro (April 23–27). The oral papers span topics including EditBench (a benchmark for LLM code editing), UALM (a unified audio language model), Agent Data Protocol (standardized training data for AI agents), MotionStream (real-time video generation), Mamba-3 (efficient sequence modeling), and hierarchical speculative decoding for faster LLM inference. Poster papers cover computer vision, deep learning, reinforcement learning, causal discovery, robotics, and AI safety/ethics. The breadth of work reflects CMU's research across LLM reasoning, multimodal models, embodied AI, and theoretical ML.
