Macbook or Windows Laptop?

I’m a student and work full-time, and for a while, I used a Windows gaming laptop as my daily workhorse until I got a PC at work. Having to carry that laptop around with me to school and work was a struggle. Most Windows laptops are heavy, and on top of that, you always need to carry the power adapter, which adds more weight. After a week of hauling it around every day, I often found my shoulders aching. The battery life was another issue; it drains quickly without being plugged in, so if I needed to work away from home or the office, I was constantly searching for a power outlet, which sometimes became a real hassle.
I’ve never used a MacBook myself, but from everything I’ve read and seen in reviews, it seems to avoid these issues. MacBooks are known for their long battery life, and you can charge them via USB-C, which is typically lighter and more convenient than adapters for brands like Asus. Back then, I regretted not getting a MacBook, but with the specs I wanted (at least 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage), it was out of my budget.
Now that I have a desktop at work, my Windows laptop stays at home most of the time, so I don’t feel its downsides as much since I always have access to a power outlet and don’t have to carry it around. Plus, it performs great in games, something that would be harder to achieve on a MacBook.
In short, if portability isn’t a major concern and you want a strong graphics card for gaming, go with a Windows laptop. But if mobility and the ability to work from anywhere matter more to you, and storage or RAM configuration isn’t as crucial, then I’d recommend a MacBook.
