Google is expanding its Lyria 3 music generation model with a new Pro tier that supports tracks up to 3 minutes long, with structural awareness for intros, verses, choruses, and bridges. Lyria 3 Pro is now available across Vertex AI (public preview for enterprise), Google AI Studio, the Gemini API, Google Vids, the Gemini app (paid subscribers), and ProducerAI. The model is trained on licensed materials, does not mimic specific artists, and all outputs are watermarked with SynthID. Google is also collaborating with professional musicians like Grammy-winning producer Yung Spielburg and DJ François K to refine the technology.
