LXD 6.7 has been released with AMD GPU passthrough support as the headline feature, using the AMD CDI container toolkit bundled into the Snap package and a new 'gpu_cdi_amd' extension for the Container Device Interface specification. VM GPU passthrough is also improved with updated QEMU and EDK2 versions. Additional changes include enhanced LXD UI initial access, storage pool database recovery for clusters, forced instance deletion via API, optimized instance state field retrieval, and x86_64-v3 architecture variant image support.
