Lucid Motors unveiled a robotaxi concept called 'Lucid Lunar' at its investor day in New York City. The two-seater, steering-wheel-free vehicle is designed to share a platform with Lucid's upcoming mid-size EV lineup, though no active development is underway yet. Lucid also announced a near-finalized collaboration with Uber for a robotaxi based on one of its mid-size vehicles, and is already working with Nuro to deploy an autonomous Gravity SUV on Uber's network in San Francisco by year-end. The company plans to monetize partial autonomy via DreamDrive Pro subscriptions ranging from $69 to $199/month starting in H1 2027, and is developing an in-cabin AI assistant. New mid-size models named Lucid Cosmos and Lucid Earth were also revealed, targeting a ~$50,000 starting price.
