The fork aimed to restore direct communication between Bambu Lab 3D printers and OrcaSlicer, bypassing the company's cloud. Bambu Lab had previously restricted third-party integrations, citing ~30 million unauthorized daily requests to its servers. Rossmann is urging Jarczak to restore the project on GitHub and is rallying the community to crowdfund a legal defense, framing the dispute as a broader Right to Repair issue.
