LoongArch architecture improvements have been merged into the Linux 7.1 kernel. Key changes include correct CPU vulnerability detection and handling, additional atomic instructions for the BPF JIT, more BPF trampoline features, and various low-level enhancements. Notably, there is new 32-bit support work including HIGHMEM (PKMAP and FIX_KMAP) for accessing larger memory amounts on 32-bit systems.
