logrittr is a new R package introducing a custom pipe operator `%>=%` that adds verbose logging to dplyr pipelines. Unlike tidylog, which works by masking dplyr functions, logrittr uses its own pipe operator and never touches the dplyr namespace. At each pipeline step it logs row counts, column counts, added/dropped columns, and timing, with colorful console output via the cli package. It also integrates with the lumberjack package for writing logs to CSV. Current limitations include no support for dbplyr/database pipelines and incomplete join cardinality reporting. The package is positioned as a proof-of-concept useful in production monitoring, auditing, and educational contexts.
