How much time does it take to update windows again ? When you power on and instead of being able to work, you just have to wait for three rounds of reboots… And the time spend re-disabling the annoying stuff that the update forced re-enabled behind your back ? I also can’t trust an OS that reboots instead of shutting down. Plain wtf is what it is.

All OSs are great; pick the best one for you.
The same applies to Linux distributions. I have no headaches with Linux Mint.

im just glad to switch to ubuntu windows sucks it just eats rams however linux is not resource hungry at all, i don’t know how do you think that the linux is wasting time ??
more than that, as a game developer i got the unity working better on ubuntu and loading faster than windows that takes 5 mins at least to load the project for debugging while ubuntu load it in 30 sec;
now i can open unity and more than firefox 2 windows with more than having 5 tabs each window, in other hand i just open unity, discord, vs code and 1 tab firefox on windows 10 and my pc goes to hell

I think it’s an aged meme. Depends on the distro you choose… Even Arch is easier to setup than 10 years ago. Also, for example Fedora realeased this new types of immutable OS called atomic desktop (silverblue, kiniote) where the whole system is updated in one go, and an update will not apply if anything goes wrong. Graphical applications are installed via Flatpak, and keep themselves separate from the base system. In other words a super-secure OS. Almost zero wasted time in mantaining the system, its a ready to work OS with a heavy abstraction on the system, so you don’t have to care of mainting/update/solve things related to the OS.
Also depends on the DE you choose is not the same GNOME than KDE in terms of configuration, or if you go through a WM where you have to do some configuration and setup keybindings.
All depends on how many time are you willing to waste… If you don’t wont to waste time, you have distros that are fully setup and ready to use/work/etc. If you want to “waste” time you have others distros to that.
Depends more in the user than in the OS nowadays.
