I chose Linux almost 20 year ago. Never regreted a day.

Who is old enough to remember pre Fedora, when Red Hat was free and Mandrake was the Ubuntu of its day, when I used Slackware-btw, oh and the download speeds were so slow that instead of download a distro you would pay someone to burn the installation cd’s and send them to you in the post.

can you prefer me some usefull sites to learn linux. Its overlly complicated for someone who aspires to become an engineer

A very humbling and honest post. Its not trying to convert me, its not telling me how crap the other OS’s are, its not trying to sell me anything.
I have to agree that there are some complete dicks out there who, when asked a question about Linux instantly reach for the canned response of “Google it”, completely forgetting they were once there, learning Linux.
A very refreshing post, open and honest, if only all posts and YouTube videos were like this.
