Lindenmayer systems, also known as LSystems, consist of an alphabet of symbols, production rules, an initial axiom, and a mechanism for translating the generated strings into geometric structures. By defining an axiom, a set of rules, and an angle, beautiful ferns and other fractal patterns can be created. The process involves generating a sequence, drawing a canvas based on the sequence, and coloring the canvas using a linear gradient.
