Life Electric Vehicles Holdings (Life EV) has completed its $13.2 million acquisition of Rad Power Bikes, taking ownership of the brand's intellectual property, inventory, and operating assets. Rad Power, which had raised nearly $330 million in venture capital before filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in December 2025, will continue operating under its existing brand name in the US. Life EV plans to maintain retail operations, expand into select new markets, and honor existing customer warranties and gift cards. The Florida-based acquirer specializes in buying and scaling e-bike and micro-mobility brands, and also holds an equity interest in LEV Manufacturing, which owns the Serial 1 e-bike brand spun off from Harley-Davidson.
