Go is a great way to evaluate technologies, but it's far from enough to fill out the tech battle. By adopting technology that doesn't reflect the true cost of adopting that technology will very rarely reflect the cost of using it. It doesn't matter who points out that "maybe we shouldn't hit ourselves in the head with a rake repeatedly": that's no matter who it comes from.

Lies we tell ourselves to keep using Golang

I think most of the points is true. i written code in Golang around year i still hit wall of FFL.

I don’t know any language nobody complaining to. Except for the ones no one uses. And I tried Rust, there are many strange, complicated, and not obvious things inside it as well.
Real TLDR for this article would be: think twice before choosing your technologies. That’s it, and there is nothing specific about Go from this point of view.
