A new layer-based variant of the KIK quantum error mitigation method is proposed to overcome limitations of the original global noise amplification approach. The Layered KIK method is inherently compatible with mid-circuit measurements and dynamic circuits, enabling integration with quantum error correction codes. Error correction handles dominant noise, while Layered KIK suppresses residual errors from leakage and correlated noise. The approach introduces no additional overhead and can be combined with other mitigation techniques to reduce sampling costs and improve drift resilience.
