A walkthrough of building a real-time AI video generation SaaS app that transforms live webcam feeds into stylized video (oil painting, clay, 3D render, etc.) using the Flux 2 Klein open-source model hosted on Modal GPU infrastructure. The tutorial covers the full stack: a FastAPI WebSocket backend streaming JPEG frames to/from the model, a React frontend using canvas APIs and createImageBitmap for GPU-accelerated rendering, Clerk for authentication, and ChargeB (sponsor) for subscription billing with tiered plans. User metadata in Clerk stores subscription status and usage seconds, eliminating the need for a separate database. Video recording via CanvasCaptureStream and WebM export is also included.
