Good post, however one thing to mention…

And this is why new/future developers will be held back technically as they are/will rely too much on frameworks. I am not saying this is bad, but in certain situation its good to know what’s going on in the background.

tbh i’m not sure of the actual usefulness of this feature…
eagerly loading all relations means potentially hitting db several times for NO reason, and to me it sounds like an antipattern

Automating something that should be done manually in order to control performance (as this automation can also hurt it), is nothing to celebrate for. If Laravel really wanted to solve the N+1 problem, they would have switched to GraphQL. Sure, it has a learning curve, but so does Laravel. If you’re gonna be opinionated pick a damn good opinion.
