Laravel has partnered with Jason McCreary and Laravel Shift to release a free static analysis tool called the Laravel Cloud Pre-Check. It connects to your GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab repository and generates a compatibility report delivered as a pull request in minutes. The report checks PHP version requirements, PHP extensions, Laravel Octane configuration, database configuration, system command calls, and hardcoded paths. Results fall into three categories: ready for Cloud, warnings, or blockers — each with actionable guidance so developers know exactly what to fix before migrating to Laravel Cloud.
