Krita 6.0 has been released as the Qt6 port of the popular open-source digital painting application. It is functionally identical to Krita 5.3 but built on Qt6 with improved Wayland support, including a full implementation of the Wayland color management protocol for HDR support on Linux. Other improvements include a completely new text feature, full OpenType support, on-canvas editing, vector improvements, better HDR painting support, and improved Adobe PSD file handling.
