Moonshot AI has released Kimi K2.6, an open-weight model optimized for agentic coding workflows. It scores 80.2% on SWE-Bench Verified and 58.6% on SWE-Bench Pro, and supports Agent Swarm architectures scaling to 300 sub-agents executing 4,000 coordinated steps simultaneously. In a 13-hour continuous run, it made over 1,000 tool calls and modified 4,000+ lines of code, achieving a 185% throughput improvement. The model is now available in Kilo Code, KiloClaw, and the Kilo Gateway, including VS Code and JetBrains extensions.
