KDE Linux has received several notable updates. Apple APFS file-system read/write support is now available via the experimental linux-apfs-rw-dkms out-of-tree kernel module, pre-installed for users working with macOS data. A workaround for a months-long AMDGPU issue causing total system freezes has been added by setting amdgpu.dcdebugmask=0x10 in the kernel command line, which disables panel self-refresh at the cost of slightly higher power usage. Additionally, Kup backup software is now pre-installed, and more Flatpak language packs are included by default.
