Paneru is a sliding, tiling window manager for MacOS that arranges windows on an infinite horizontal strip. Unlike traditional tiling managers, opening new windows never resizes existing ones, maintaining layout stability. Each monitor operates independently with its own window strip. The project is built with Rust and inspired by Yabai's architecture and Niri's scrollable workflow. Features include focus-follows-mouse, touchpad navigation, configurable keyboard shortcuts via TOML, and live configuration reloading. Windows can be managed, stacked, resized, and navigated using customizable keybindings.
