Just say no to JavaScript

Say NO to javascript in web dev is like say NO to water in your fish tank.
As others said: Typescript IS Javascript.
Bottom line is - clickbait.

Somebody told me the same thing about JS, “Just use Rails or Laravel already! Or Python.”
I took a long break from coding (Rails mostly) since my work didn’t require it.
When AI blew up with GPT, I jumped back into coding, this time with Python. It’s great for back-end, but front-end? Not so purdyyy.
So, if not JS (as you said), what’s your next best pick? Not TypeScript since it’s still JS.

Everybody uses TS now a day. No big point there in my opinion.

One of the worst articles I have ever read, and not that I disagree about Typescript - it does make JS way better. Pure JS, however, does have its usecases, especially for prototyping, and yes I know projects where pure JS prototypes worked and were replace by proper TS apps (I am working in a project like that just now). More importantly, I don’t think that responding to arguments with “Wah wah wah wah” is a way of proving your point. And finally, since the time of its inception JS have had a long way of significant improvements and in some respects it works better than Python (I work 50% Python, 50% JS), especially when tackling asynchronous code.

How are you supposed to use TypeScript when learning Javascript is a bad idea in the first place? 🤣🤣🤣
