React Doctor is a new open-source CLI tool that scans React codebases for anti-patterns using oxlint, a fast Rust-based JavaScript linter. It checks for over 47 React best practices including unnecessary useEffects, prop drilling, accessibility issues, hardcoded secrets, and suboptimal state management patterns. The tool generates a scored report with actionable recommendations, supports monorepos, and can be run programmatically or as an agent skill. A demo on a 6-year-old stock chart project and the Twenty CRM open-source project shows it in action.
