Google Cloud is hosting the Gemini Live Agent Challenge, a hackathon inviting developers to build multimodal AI agents using the Gemini Live API and Agent Development Kit (ADK). Participants compete across three categories: The Live Agent, The Creative Storyteller, and The UI Navigator. Projects must use a Gemini model, the Gen AI SDK or ADK, and at least one Google Cloud service. The prize pool totals $80,000, with the grand prize including a trip to Google Cloud Next '26, $25,000 USD, and $3,000 in Google Cloud Credits. Submissions are open until March 16, 2026.
