JetBrains 2025.1: Major Updates Across WebStorm and PhpStorm

The AI stuff is nice to start. Probably not quite as good as others but deeper integration with the IDE is something others can’t compete on.
Need to test out that XDebug stuff. Debugging PHP has always been a painpoint.

One of the great things they have introduced is the inclusion of the AI Assistant with the All products pack. One less subscription to keep track of.

Since the WebStorm 2025 version i only have problems. IDE crashing / freezing / indexing a long time. I feel like its connected to the AI thingy and the new service driven type engine which i had to disable.
And now simple component syntax highlighting takes a long time, going to definition while waiting for the type engine risks to crash the whole IDE. its horribly bad.
