I find it a bit strange that you choose the “State of JS” from the time when Solid.js was not yet a thing in order to show how Svelte is top of the list. Don’t get me wrong Svelte is nice and SvelteKit is great, but I think it’s not the sole contender to be the future replacement of established frameworks.

Interesting, but the source they’re using (State of JavaScript 2022) is about a year out of date, and some of that is reflected by the conclusions the author has come to. E.g. with Express, looking at NPM’s download stats, it’s evident that it’s no longer rising in popularity - downloads remain pretty consistent, with most being on pinned versions (so likely legacy apps)

Express and Jest are very simple and straightfoward to use, also you can use then as you like. No surprise they stil on top after all this years.
