Java adoption for AI development jumped from 50% to 62% year-over-year, with JavaML, Deep Java Library, and OpenCL being the most popular libraries. The survey of 2,000+ Java users also revealed that 81% are moving away from Oracle Java due to pricing concerns, 18% have already adopted JDK 25, and ChatGPT leads as the preferred AI code generation tool among Java developers.
