Microsoft has released the January 2026 patch and security update for the Microsoft Build of OpenJDK. The update covers four versions: OpenJDK 25.0.2, 21.0.10, 17.0.18, and 11.0.30. There are no Microsoft-specific changes in this release; all updates are upstream. Source code is available on GitHub, and binaries can be downloaded directly. Microsoft also continues to provide OpenJDK 8 support via Eclipse Temurin container images on Azure Linux and Ubuntu.
