Halodoc's IT Operations team describes how they replaced manual device tracking with an automated asset management framework to close security visibility gaps across 1000+ endpoints. The system runs two workflows: a daily scheduled pipeline that pulls health and CVE data from ManageEngine and CrowdStrike, correlates it against a Google Sheets master list, and sends alerts; and an event-driven flow triggered by Jira webhooks when laptop handover tickets are resolved. Built on Google Apps Script, the pipeline automates email attachment parsing, data mapping, vulnerability notifications, and patch deployment via ManageEngine. Key outcomes include real-time CVE-to-asset linking, automated remediation routing, compliance monitoring for security agents, and live dashboards with auto-generated work orders for IT support teams.
