Is Vibe Coding dead?

I don’t think it’s dead but the hype has settled. Honeymoon phase is over, now people start seeing the challenges

I don’t think the AI hype is over — it’s just moving to where it actually belongs. The hype around “AI building full apps” was mostly marketing. In reality, AI is starting to be used where it truly helps: reducing developer pain, improving understanding, documentation, and catching those small mistakes we usually spend hours on. It’s not replacing developers — it’s finally finding its real purpose.

I was never into it to begin with.

Everybody on social media seems to be developing the next discord, trello and shopify with it without much intervention and fully automatic while for me it cant even do basic things reliably.

VC is cool for small stuff… but try a complex feature and it’s like :( even pro prompting can’t save it 😂 lacks all the context!
