I mean Spring is still a very popular web framework, It’s the first one I learned and the one I use at work.

The biggest selling point of Java is that is general language which can be use in many areas. I also do mainly Java in my day job and compare to other languages used in our organization I think it’s simply better than others, at least from my personal point of view.

Java is my choice, Python is very slow, NodeJs have issues with memory and security and hard to scale, Go is good but not easy to write a large project but good for small micro services

there are better alternatives to java/spring backends, but tons of code are still written with that, so yes, it is still very relevant
