Another chromium browser is not a new browser, it is a new bad thing, a new step for google to monopolize.
I use firefox and firefox based browsers like floorp and zen, just for the sake of not giving google anything.

Putting privacy to one side, it would be good to have multiple choice of engines. Ladybird is under development and I am happy that it is coming up as a legitimate engine other than being another chromium based browser.
Personally, I use Brave just for YouTube. I then use Tor, LibreWolf, Zen, and Waterfox for everything else.
