Iranian hacker group Handela (believed to be backed by Iranian government intelligence) has claimed responsibility for breaching FBI Director Cash Patel's personal Gmail account. The group released an 800MB archive containing emails from 2011–2022, photos, and personal communications. The FBI confirmed the breach but downplayed its significance, noting the emails are historical. The leaked data includes contacts with government and military email addresses, posing an OSINT risk. Handela has also placed a $50M bounty on Trump and Netanyahu in response to the US government's $10M reward for identifying the hackers.
