Zed has launched Zed for Business, a $30/seat/month plan aimed at organizations wanting to deploy Zed editor company-wide. Key features include org-wide AI privacy controls (prompt sharing and training opt-ins locked off by default), admin controls to disable specific AI features and set token spend limits, and flexible AI billing — either bring your own API keys from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or AWS, or use Zed-hosted models billed at provider cost plus 10%. SSO (SAML/OIDC), SCIM, and SOC 2 certification are not yet available but are in progress. Teams like Mercury and Ramp are already using it.
