I’m not sure I understand the benefits of using this over something like <a href="https://github.com/r2d4/llm.ts" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">llm.ts</a> or even rolling your own solution. These are all straightforward API calls after all.
They’re calling it the “AI SDK”, but really it should be called the “Chat SDK” because that’s all it’s designed for. There are no features besides prompting and streaming utilities.
