We’re introducing the new and improved Pulumi ESC Editor in the Console, designed to make managing secrets and configuration easier, faster, and more intuitive.

The Pulumi blog provides developers with resources, tutorials, and best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) and cloud-native development using Pulumi's open-source tools. Developers can learn about deploying and managing infrastructure using familiar programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and Go. Additionally, the blog covers topics such as cloud architecture patterns, multi-cloud deployments, and serverless computing, enabling developers to build and deploy modern cloud applications with ease.

Pulumi has released an improved ESC Editor in their Cloud Console for managing secrets and configuration. The new unified editor features an Inspect tab that allows switching between YAML editing and UI controls while keeping everything synchronized. Key improvements include simplified secret addition with automatic encryption, easier discovery and configuration of providers and built-in functions with inline documentation, and streamlined export options for Pulumi config and environment variables. The editor integrates with multiple cloud providers and secret managers, supporting composable environments and OIDC-based short-lived credentials.
