Introducing the KATE stack, a standardized GitOps stack composed of Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform, and External Secrets Operator. This stack helps reduce the time taken for teams to get development and production environments by leveraging common design patterns. The four layers of the KATE stack are Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform, and External Secrets Operator. ArgoCD is the deployment layer, while Kubernetes provides the orchestration layer. Terraform handles the definition of infrastructure, and External Secrets Operator manages secrets within Kubernetes.
