The Open Source Security Foundation (OpenSSF) has launched its Ambassador Program and announced the first cohort of 13 community leaders. These ambassadors come from diverse backgrounds spanning supply chain security, policy, engineering, and community building. They include professors, engineers, and advocates from organizations like Red Hat, ControlPlane, JetBrains, and the Rust Foundation. Ambassadors will represent OpenSSF at industry events, host meetups, and create educational content to help developers secure their code.
