Databricks has launched a generally available connector for Google Sheets that brings live, governed lakehouse data directly into Sheets without CSV exports. Built on Databricks SQL and Unity Catalog, it lets business users query and refresh data on demand while data teams maintain governance. Nubank is cited as an early adopter, using it to empower non-technical stakeholders with governed data access inside their preferred productivity tool.
