The Claude Platform on AWS is now generally available, offering a new way for AWS customers to access the full set of Claude platform features with AWS authentication, billing, and commitment retirement.

Anthropic's Claude Platform is now generally available on AWS, giving AWS customers access to the full native Claude API feature set with AWS IAM authentication, CloudTrail audit logging, and unified AWS billing. Unlike Claude on Amazon Bedrock (where AWS is the data processor), the Claude Platform on AWS is operated by Anthropic with data processed outside the AWS boundary. Features include Claude Managed Agents, web search, code execution, Files API, Skills, MCP connector, prompt caching, citations, and batch processing. Models available include Claude Opus 4.7, Sonnet 4.6, and Haiku 4.5, with new models shipping on the same day as the native Claude API.
