The Vercel AI Gateway is now available for alpha testing, offering a streamlined method to integrate any AI model from various providers without managing API keys or facing vendor lock-in. Built on top of the AI SDK, it allows developers to rapidly adapt to the fast-paced AI landscape with load balancing and failover features across providers. During the alpha phase, usage is free, with future plans for pay-as-you-go billing as well as other enhancements including unified logging and model failover.
