Redpanda announces the Agentic Data Plane (ADP), a unified platform that provides governed access to enterprise data for AI agents. The ADP combines real-time streaming, an Iceberg-native query engine, 300+ connectors, and global policy enforcement to enable safe agent deployment across data infrastructure. Redpanda also acquired Oxla, a distributed query engine for low-latency context management. The platform focuses on solving governance challenges through access controls, observability, and audit trails while supporting open protocols like MCP and PostgreSQL.
