Storybook is already using Vite…
there is ABSOLUTLY no need to waste time developing
something which is already close to perfect and has TONS
of extremely smart people working on it.
It’s not going to production anyway, and storybook v7 is
an ingenious piece of software.
Storybook’s setup is super easy, it’s basically ready out-of-the-box with a single line for installing it. done it many times for years.
Also, who cares if it “lot of package dependencies”.
internet is fast and disk space is dirt cheap.
This project probably took a lot of effort to make and I don’t see any future to it in terms of user-base or maintainability.
