The Flutter team is introducing Agent Skills for Dart and Flutter — domain-specific instruction sets that teach AI coding agents how to complete common Flutter and Dart development tasks. Unlike MCP which provides tools, Skills provide task-oriented workflows and instructions, improving accuracy and reducing token usage. Five initial skills are available covering integration testing, localization setup, responsive layouts, Dart pattern matching, and test coverage collection. Skills are installed via npx and work with any AI agent.
