Internet Archive Switzerland is a newly launched independent Swiss non-profit foundation based in St. Gallen, mission-aligned with the Internet Archive network. Its primary goal is universal access to all knowledge. The foundation is running two initial projects: the Gen AI Archive, a partnership with the University of St. Gallen to preserve today's AI models for future generations, and the Endangered Archives initiative, which aims to rescue vulnerable cultural and historical collections threatened by conflict, disaster, or suppression, in cooperation with UNESCO.
