Intel's Trusted Domain Extensions (TDX) runtime update support is set to land in Linux 7.2. After ten rounds of code review, the feature has been queued into the x86/tdx branch of tip/tip.git. This allows updating the TDX module on running servers without requiring a reboot, using the P-SEAMLDR mechanism. Previously, any TDX module update required a full server reboot.
